BENTLY PROXPAC Eddy Current Sensor System Components from the United States

The BENTLY PROXPAC component in the United States does not require a separate Proximitor protection box and extension cable, reducing installation costs. This design uses standard 31000 series protective box components, but a special 3300 series preamplifier is installed in the protective box, allowing the American BENTLY 3300 series 8mm or 5mm eddy current probes to be directly connected to the preamplifier without the need for extension cables. The on-site connection to the monitoring system can be directly connected to the protective box components. Note: This system is not designed for API 670 applications.

The Bently Nevada 3500/64M dynamic pressure monitor is specially designed to monitor combustion chamber pressure oscillations indicative of combustion instability ("buzzing") in gas turbines. By using our 350500 interface module, various pressure sensors * designed for these applications can be used in conjunction with the 3500/64M.

Note: GE provides 145664 pressure sensors and related extension cables for applications up to 500F (260C), which are typically sufficient for installing sensors away from the combustion chamber using isolated pipelines. When installing sensors directly on the combustion chamber, a higher temperature range is usually required, as well as various third-party sensors and cables that are compatible with both the 350500 charge amplifier and the 3500/64M monitor module.
