Bently Nevada 3500/50M Tachometer Module

The Bently Nevada 3500/50M is a Tachometer Module developed for monitoring rotational speed and related machine operating parameters within the 3500 Series protection platform.

The module accepts input signals from:

  • Proximity probe transducers

  • Magnetic pickup sensors

It measures:

  • Zero-speed conditions

The 3500/50M compares measured values with programmed alarm setpoints and can generate alarm conditions through the 3500 system architecture. Configuration is performed through 3500 Rack Configuration Software, allowing engineers to define speed monitoring functions according to machine requirements.

The module can also provide conditioned Keyphasor signals to the 3500 rack backplane, allowing other monitoring modules to use timing reference signals without requiring a separate Keyphasor module in certain configurations.
