Developed by ABB for Symphony Plus DCS platform, DI04 is industrial-grade 16-channel isolated digital input module under SD I/O series, designed to receive 48VDC discrete field signals in process automation projects. Every input channel adopts independent channel-to-channel galvanic isolation structure with 1500VAC isolation rating, effectively blocking ground loop surge and cross-channel interference to protect backplane and main control unit. Users can customize channel debounce time from 0~255ms via FC221 & FC224 control function codes to filter field mechanical switch bounce noise, supporting both sinking and sourcing input current mode to match diversified field sensor wiring. Front panel equipped with independent LED indicator for each channel to display real-time input status for fast on-site troubleshooting, plus built-in mini-USB diagnostic port for module parameter download, firmware upgrade and fault inspection.
